I'm originally from Washington, DC, and received my B.A. in Theatre from Vanderbilt University. After attending Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York for acting, I stumbled into a job ghostwriting romance novels - the steamy kind! Fifteen of my novels were published through an indie publisher, selling several hundred thousand copies and becoming Amazon bestsellers. They were all written under a pseudonym, though that couldn't stop my mother from finding them.

I then moved into TV writing when a half-hour comedy script of mine won the Storytellers Initiative award at a festival called Seriesfest. I've also had a few plays published, written for a podcast network called Parcast, and the app Calm. I wrote an episode of DreamWorks' SPIRIT: RIDING ACADEMY. I staffed on a Quibi/Roku show called IMMORAL COMPASS and was the associate writer for Disney's HAMSTER & GRETEL. I've developed projects with Eko Studios, Big Breakfast, Canary House, Audity, and Piller/Segan. I'm currently developing projects with producers Debbie Liebling and Scotty Landes and Burr Productions.

I recently started directing my own work. You can watch my short horror INVITED here. My comedic podcast pilot SMILE & NOD is currently in festival consideration.

While I enjoy working in a variety of mediums and genres, my work always spotlights complicated, multi-faceted female characters, and even my most dramatic work contains a sense of humor.

I'm represented by Chelsea Powell at Myman Greenspan, but feel free to get in touch with me directly through the form on this website.
