I'm originally from Washington, DC, and received my B.A. in Theatre from Vanderbilt University. After attending Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York for acting, I stumbled into a job ghostwriting romance novels - the steamy kind! Fifteen of my novels were published through an indie publisher, selling several hundred thousand copies and becoming Amazon bestsellers. They were all written under a pseudonym, though that couldn't stop my mother from finding them.

I then moved into TV writing when a half-hour comedy script of mine won the Storytellers Initiative award at a festival called Seriesfest. I've also had a few plays published, written for a podcast network called Parcast, a Dreamworks show, the app Calm, and I staffed on a Quibi/Roku show called IMMORAL COMPASS. I developed an interactive project with SNL's John Milhiser for Eko Studios with Powderkeg and Big Breakfast, and I'm currently developing projects with producers Debbie Liebling and Scotty Landes, Morgan Pichinson, Laura Schwartz, Burr Productions, and Piller/Segan.

While I enjoy working in a variety of mediums and genres, my work always spotlights complicated, multi-faceted female characters, and even my most dramatic work contains a sense of humor.

I'm represented by Chris Nold at MGMT Entertainment and Chelsea Powell at Myman Greenspan, but feel free to get in touch with me directly through the form on this website.
