I'm originally from Washington, DC, and received my B.A. in Theatre from Vanderbilt University. After attending Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York for acting, I stumbled into a job ghostwriting romance novels - the steamy kind! Fifteen of my novels were published through an indie publisher, selling several hundred thousand copies and becoming Amazon bestsellers. They were all written under a pseudonym, though that couldn't stop my mother from finding them.
I then moved into TV writing when a half-hour comedy script of mine won the Storytellers Initiative award at a festival called Seriesfest. I've also had a few plays published, written for a podcast network called Parcast, and a Dreamworks show. I developed a project with SNL's John Milhiser for Eko Studios with Powderkeg and Big Breakfast, and I'm currently developing a horror feature with producers Debbie Liebling and Scotty Landes, a comedic half-hour with Piller/Segan, and a romcom feature with The Cartel. I recently staffed on the upcoming Quibi sketch show IMMORAL COMPASS.
While I enjoy working in a variety of mediums and genres, my work always spotlights complicated, multi-faceted female characters, and even my most dramatic work contains a sense of humor.
